Minnesota Weather: Up To 4 Inches Of Snow Possible Thursday
There is still a lot that could change before the winter storm arrives Thursday.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Up to 4 inches of snow could fall in the Twin Cities metro area this week, according to the latest forecasts, though there is still a lot that could change before it arrives Thursday.
"Chances for seeing hazardous winter weather Thursday through Friday is increasing," states the National Weather Service.
"There is still a good deal of uncertainty with this storm, but if you have travel plans across the region Thursday or Friday, make sure you stay up-to-date with the latest winter weather forecasts."

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 39. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night: A chance of freezing rain before 4am, then a chance of rain or freezing rain between 4am and 5am, then a chance of rain and snow after 5am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. South wind around 5 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Thursday: Snow likely, possibly mixed with rain, becoming all snow after 8am. Cloudy, with a high near 36. West northwest wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Thursday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Friday: A 50 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 30. North northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Friday Night: A 40 percent chance of snow before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 17. North northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 22. Northwest wind around 10 mph.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 12. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 22. West wind around 5 mph.
