Minnesota Weather: Rain, Lows Back In The 30s
Rainstorms will bring cooler weather to the Twin Cities metro area this week.
TWIN CITIES, MN — Expect rain and colder temperatures in the Twin Cities metro area this week. "A prolonged rainfall event will begin tonight and last into Wednesday afternoon," says the National Weather Service. "The storm bringing us this rainfall will also send temperatures back closer to normal mid-week."

Here's the full NWS forecast for the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area this week:
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58. West northwest wind around 5 mph becoming north in the afternoon.
Monday Night: Rain, mainly after 10pm. Low around 44. East northeast wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tuesday: Rain. High near 53. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tuesday Night: Rain. Low around 44. East northeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Wednesday: Rain, mainly before 1pm. High near 47. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
