The bitter cold air isn't leaving the Twin Cities metro area anytime soon.

TWIN CITIES, MN — The bitter cold air isn't leaving central Minnesota anytime soon.
"Make sure your pets have a warm dry place with plenty of food and water during this cold stretch," notes the National Weather Service. "A frigid and remarkably persistent Arctic will continue through next week."
