Minnesota Weather: Rollercoaster Week For Temperatures
The high for Monday is 71, but the high for Wednesday is 37.
TWIN CITIES, MN — The highs and lows this week will rise and fall like a rollercoaster in the Twin Cities metro. The high for Monday is 71, but the high for Wednesday is 37.
"Well-above normal high temperatures are expected for this afternoon with highs into the 60s and 70s," says the National Weather Service.
"Normal highs are in the mid-to-upper 40s. Behind a strong cold front pushing across the Upper Midwest tonight, much colder air will move into the region, dropping highs below normal for Tuesday. Highs on Tuesday will be 30-40 degrees colder, only reaching the lower 30s to lower 40s."

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 71. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.
Monday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 2am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 35. Breezy, with a south southwest wind 15 to 20 mph becoming west northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 41. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 24. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Wednesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 37. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.: Wednesday Night
