The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Twin Cities metro area.
TWIN CITIES, MN — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for much of central Minnesota, including the Twin Cities metro area. Between 2 to 5 inches of snow could fall by Wednesday morning.
Roads could become slippery by Tuesday afternoon.

Tuesday: Snow, mainly after 2pm. High near 24. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Tuesday Night: Snow, mainly before 3am. Steady temperature around 24. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with a steady temperature around 21. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 7. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
