Minnesota Weather: Weekend To Feature Snowstorm, Cold Snap

TWIN CITIES, MN — Up to three inches of new snow could fall Saturday, with the storm continuing through the night. "Snow is expected to spread across the area on Saturday and last into Sunday," notes the National Weather Service.

This weekend will also feature bitter cold, with temperatures falling below 0 degrees Friday night.

Thursday: A chance of flurries after noon. Increasing clouds, with a high near 30. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
