TWIN CITIES, MN — General manager Bill Guerin announced Friday morning that the Minnesota Wild has fired head coach Bruce Boudreau. Boudreau coached the Wild since 2016.

The Wild, 27-23-7, are currently in sixth place in the NHL Central Division.

Boudreau's firing comes in the same week that the team traded away longtime star wing Jason Zucker.
