Here's the weather to expect for the 4th of July weekend in the Twin Cities metro area.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Minnesota's 4th of July weekend will be blazing hot, according to the latest forecasts. The good news is that the humidity will remain low.

There is no rain in the 4th of July weekend forecast.

"After a few days of scattered showers, we go back to the dry and eventually hot weather for the upcoming Independence Day weekend," the National Weather Service said.

"For those hoping for some more rain, a front will enter the area Sunday evening and looks to get hung up overhead or nearby through the first half of next week. If that happens, we'll see more unsettled weather return next week."
