MN Weather: Cooler Week Ahead

TWIN CITIES, MN — Minnesotans can expect a milder week of weather after a first half of June that was filled with blazing hot days in the 90s. "Today will be cooler and breezy, with mostly sunny skies becoming partly sunny this afternoon," said the National Weather Service.

"Tuesday will be a bit warmer, then it will heat back up to near 90 degrees for Wednesday and Thursday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday and Friday."

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Northwest wind around 15 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 50. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest after midnight.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 77. West southwest wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. South southeast wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 89. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. South wind 10 to 15 mph.
