MN Weather: High of 95 Friday In Twin Cities Metro

MINNEAPOLIS — Friday will kick off a very hot weekend in the Twin Cities metro area. The high is expected to reach 95 degrees.

"Hot conditions are expected today, with elevated fire weather conditions in portions of western, northern, and northwestern Minnesota," says the National Weather Service. "Humidity will be low today, so heat index values will stay near actual temperatures."

Meanwhile, the air quality will be very poor.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 92. Breezy, with a south wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
