Preceded in death by wife, Lucille; brother, Melvin; and sister, Beverly Johnson.

Survived by siblings, Sylvia Jorgenson, Kenneth Paulsen, and Ruby Baldwin; several nieces and nephews.

Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Visitation and funeral services were the morning of June 26, 2013 at The Church of St. Albert the Great, 2836 33rd Avenue South, Minneapolis.
