Minneapolis Declares Snow Emergency Starting Monday Night, Send Us Your Photos and Stories

Minneapolis declared a snow emergency starting Monday Feb. 21, at 9 p.m.
Day 1: Monday, Feb. 21, 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Do not park on EITHER side of a Snow Emergency route until the street is fully plowed adn completely cleared to the curb.
Day 2: Tuesday, Feb. 22, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Do not park on the EVEN side of non-Snow Emergency routes, or on EITHER side of a parkway until the street is fully plowed.
Day 3: Wednesday, Feb. 23, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Do not park on the ODD side of a non-Snow Emergency route until the street is fully plowed.
Day 4: Thursday, Feb. 24, 8 a.m.
Return to Winter Parking Restrictions Between 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, and 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, people can begin moving their cars from the EVEN side of non-Snow Emergency Routes to the ODD side to be in compliance when the Winter Parking Restrictions resume at 8 a.m. Thursday. During Winter Parking Restrictions, parking is banned on the EVEN SIDE of non-Snow Emergency Routes. Drivers still need to follow all posted NO PARKING signs.
Minneapolis received around 12.3 inches of snow in Sunday's storm.
There's a good chance, according to the National Weather Service, that we'll get another 1-3 inches of snow today. More snow is possible throughout the week, while temperatures will typically stay in the teens and twenties.
