Potential Snowstorm Update: Minnesota Weather

TWIN CITIES, MN — There's still a chance for snow in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area later this week, but it's not clear how likely or how much. "We have seen a pronounced southward shift in the track of the late week system over the last 24 hours, but it is still too early to determine whether this shift will remain permanent," the National Weather Service said.

"Accumulating snowfall is still possible, especially across southern portions of Minnesota and western Wisconsin, but the potential for impactful winter weather appears lower compared to 24 hours ago."
