TWIN CITIES — Ready or not, here comes winter in Minnesota. The temperatures are about to turn much colder as we enter the weekend and roll into next week.

The low will reach 28 degrees Sunday night. It will fall to 24 by Wednesday. There will also be several chances for snow next week.

Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 38. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 56. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 36. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph after midnight.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43. West northwest wind around 10 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 38. West wind around 5 mph.
