North of 36th St and East of the lake sees much heavier criminal activity than the rest of Southwest.

MONTHLY UPDATE. Overall, the map is showing fewer incidents in the Southwest district than we were seeing over the summer. Vehicle thefts and thefts from vehicles continue to be the most prominent issues throughout the district. North of 36th St and East of the lake sees much heavier criminal activity than the rest of Southwest. East of the Lake between Lake and 36th:

  • 1 shoplifting
  • 12 commercial burglaries
  • 7 home burglaries
  • 3 aggravated assaults
  • 3 assaults
  • 2 commercial robberies
  • 5 individual robberies
  • (this area has over 2x the motor vehicle crimes as the other 3)
