Stillwater Schools Cancel Classes Over Coronavirus Fears
School staff members will be involved in planning during the canceled days of classes.

STILLWATER, MN — Stillwater Area Public Schools is the latest district in Minnesota to cancel classes due to the new coronavirus, COVID-19. The district announced Friday it is extending spring break for students by two days. Classes will resume as normal on Wednesday, March 18.
School staff members will be involved in planning during the canceled days of classes.
"The extra days will allow staff to plan for the implementation of new guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) to help slow the transmission of COVID-19 and protect the most vulnerable populations," the district said in a statement.
