What's Open, Closed In Minneapolis On MLK Day
Here's are the offices that will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — All Minneapolis city government offices, including Minneapolis 311 are closed Monday, Jan. 18 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. City offices will resume as normal on Tuesday, according to a news release.
There are no changes to city garbage and recycling pick-up schedules and there will be regular pickups on Jan. 18, but the Solid Waste and Recycling customer service office and information line, and the South Transfer Station will be closed Monday.
The city's metered parking spaces are not enforced on Jan. 18, but other metered parking restrictions in Minneapolis may be in effect and subject to enforcement.

Minneapolis police and fire emergency services and 911 are not affected Monday.
