2014 Merrimack Town Meeting Voters Guide

Merrimack's town and school elections will take place on Tuesday, April 8. The town deliberative session will be held on March 12, and the school deliberative session will be held on March 5.

Between now and April 8, Merrimack Patch will be your go-to, one-stop shop for everything related to town and school elections, candidates, warrant articles and other happenings. This page will serve as the landing spot, with important information and links.

Currently, the Town Council and School Board are finalizing their proposed 2014-2015 Town Budget and the proposed 2014-2015 School Budget before they will go before voters. This page will be updated with new information and links when they become available.

IMPORTANT DATES

THURSDAY, MARCH 5: School District - Deliberative Session.

TUESDAY, APRIL 8: Annual Town Meeting and Town Election.

Town Meeting is held in the all purpose room at the James Mastricola Upper Elementary School.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Town Offices up for Election:

• Two Town Councilors for 3 years                                                  
• One Ethics Committee Member for 3 years                       
• Two Library Trustees for 3 years
• One Trustee of the Trust Funds for 3 years
• One Moderator for 2 years
• One Supervisor of the Checklist for 6 years

School District Offices:

• One member of the School Board, 3 year term
• Two members of the Planning & Building Committee, 3 year term
• Four members of the School District Budget Committee, 3 year term
  

Filing period for town and school district offices will be held from Wednesday, Feb. 19 to Friday, Feb. 28 at 5 p.m.
