Local Restaurant to Close its Doors?
Owners of Ida Mae's Sandwich Shop say they will have close on March 1 if they cannot find another solution.
The future of a local hometown eatery located on the Daniel Webster Highway is in jeopardy after the owners recently learned their landlord will not renew their lease, which will force them to close the business on March 1, according to the Union Leader.
The Manchester daily newspaper reported that Ida Mae's Sandwich Shop owners Brian and Karen Slez have notified their eight employees they may lose their jobs if they cannot find a way to keep the three-year-old eatery open. Karen Slez also told the newspaper the couple want to challenge the landlord's decision not to renew their lease in court.
