Man Arrested After Refusing to Leave Merrimack Home

A Salem man is facing a charge of resisting arrest after police responded to a disturbance in a local home on Monday.
Connor C. Tremblay, 20, of 29 Norwood Road, Salem was charged with a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and scheduled to appear in Merrimack District Court on April 8.
At 10:32 p.m. Monday, Merrimack Police responded to a Merrimack Drive home for a report of an unwanted party in the home. Upon arrival, police made contact with the parties involved, one of whom was identified as Tremblay.
While investigating the matter and questioning Tremblay, police noted obvious signs of impairment. The homeowner asked to have Tremblay escorted off the property. While attempting to detain Tremblay, he physically resisted police and was arrested.
