MERRIMACK, N.H. - Wondering how your town is celebrating Memorial Day this weekend? Check out the local plans for Memorial Day parades on Sunday, May 27 and Monday, May 28.

Bedford, NH

  • Sunday, May 27
  • 1 p.m.
  • Memorial Day Parade route: Parade starts at Bedford High School's driveway, goes down to County Road and up to Liberty Hill Road, and ends at McKelvie Intermediate School.

  • Memorial Day Parade route: Parade starts along Main Street and Pleasant Street to Main Street and Franklin Street and Franklin Street and North State Street to North State Street and Capitol Street. The parade then marches south on North State Street to the Statehouse plaza for a closing ceremony.

  • Memorial Day Parade route: Parade begins at Swasey Parkway in Exeter, NH

  • Fireworks are best seen between B and C streets along Hampton Beach and happen every Wednesday throughout the summer.

Londonderry, NH

  • Memorial Day Parade route: The parade starts at the high school on Mammoth Road and goes to Glenwood Cemetery and then returns to the Town Common. Ceremonies will be held at both the cemetery and the common.

Merrimack, NH

  • Monday, May 28
  • 11 a.m.
  • Parade will commence at Rite Aid on Daniel Webster Highway and end on Baboosic Lake Road at Last Rest Cemetery, where ceremonies will be held. Please note: Wreath laying ceremonies will be performed along the parade route at the Fraser Square Monument and the Civil War Monument in front of the First Congregational Church. Following the parade, Memorial Day services will be conducted at the Last Rest Cemetery lasting approximately 45 minutes.

Milford, NH

  • 10 a.m.
  • Memorial Day Parade route: Parade assembles and beings at the West Street Cemetery, proceeds down West Street to Elm Street and then proceeds to the Milford Oval and then to the VFW post at One VFW Way.

Nashua, NH

  • Monday, May 28
  • 10:30 a.m.
  • Memorial Day Parade route: Parade starts from Holman Stadium on Amherst Street and continues to City Hall on Main Street and ends at Elm Street Middle School in Nashua.

Portsmouth, NH

  • Monday, May 28
  • 1 p.m.
  • Memorial Day Parade route: The Central Veterans Council Memorial Day parade and cemetery service begins at the corner of Parrott and Junkins avenues, continues to Pleasant Street, through Market Square to Congress Street, onto Middle Street to Richards Avenue, and finally to South Cemetery.

Salem, NH

  • Monday, May 28, 2018; 10 a.m.
  • Memorial Day Parade route: The Memorial Day ceremony will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery and then parade immediately follows leaving from the cemetery to Main Street and Veteran's Park.

Windham, NH

  • Monday, May 28
  • 9:30 a.m.
  • Parade route: Parade begins at Windham Center School and ends at the Veterans' Section of the Cemetery on the Plain in Windham.
