Rohan is honored to be among the Top 10. He would like to thank his family, friends, teachers, and mentors for helping him achieve his ambitions.

Throughout his time in high school, he has challenged himself with a rigorous course load comprised of honors and AP courses. His favorite subjects are Calculus, Physics, and Chemistry. In addition to classwork, he has cherished exploring various clubs and activities. He is a member of MHS Band, Jazz Band, Science Olympiad, National Honor Society, FIRST Robotics, Math Honor Society and Varsity Tennis team. He has held exciting leadership positions like Drum major, Vice President, first chair and saxophone section leader for the MHS band, Head Captain of Science Olympiad, President of National Honor Society, Software lead for MHS FIRST Robotics Team Chop Shop 166, first seed and co-captain of MHS Tennis team.

Rohan enjoys giving back to the community. As an Eagle Scout from Troop 424, he built 11 solar-powered lights at Wasserman Park for his service project, which provide light during dusk near the vegetable gardens and tennis courts. Through 12 years of participating in Scouting, he has worked on many service projects like cleanup of parks, rivers, trails, and several building projects for his fellow Eagle Scouts. Furthermore, he has been a mentor for a First Lego League team for 4 years teaching programming to younger students.

In the fall, Rohan will be attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he plans to pursue his passion of Computer Engineering.
