Merrimack Man Arrested for Assault, Resisting Arrest

Merrimack Police arrested a local man after receiving a report of a disturbance on Tuesday night.

MERRIMACK, N.H. - Merrimack Police arrested a local man after receiving a report of a disturbance on Tuesday night.

According to police, David T. Palmore, 31, of Merrimack, NH was arrested for simple assault and resisting arrest on May 29.

Police said the night before, Palmore was present when they were called to a local residence. After speaking to the parties at the home, police learned that Palmore assaulted a person by pushing them and holding them down.

When police attempted to arrest Palmore, he began to physically resist and fight with them. Police were eventually able to secure Palmore in handcuffs and he was transported back to Merrimack Police headquarters for booking purposes.

He processed and released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to appear before the Merrimack Circuit Court on May 31.
