Saturday, April 15, 2017 has been set as the date for the Annual New Player Showcase and Draft for the Merrimack Men's Slo-Pitch Softball League's upcoming season. An additional New Player Showcase date of Wednesday, April 12th will be available for players that cannot make the April 15th date. The league, which plays on Monday and Wednesday evenings in Merrimack from early May through mid-September, continues to look for new players to fill out its team rosters. Players are placed on teams through a draft process that aims to maintain competitive balance in the league. The Showcase is used to help teams draft players in order by need based on skills and abilities. Every effort is made to place all eligible players on teams. To be eligible, men must be at least 18 years of age, must not currently be attending high school, and must either live or work in Merrimack.
