Merrimack Police: Couple Sold Heroin In Front of Child
Merrimack Police arrested a local couple for allegedly dealing heroin out of their home on Daniel Webster Highway.

MERRIMACK, N.H. - A Merrimack couple are facing serious charges after police caught them selling heroin, one time in front of their 9-year-old child, out of their home off of Daniel Webster Highway. The female suspect is facing additional charges after police found additional contraband inside her.
According to a release from the Merrimack Police Dept., Merrimack Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit began conducting surveillance of the Shane and Loise Masci and their residence after receiving a tip from a neighboring police department.
Police said undercover officers were able to make four controlled buys of heroin from Shane Masci at his home. During one of the transactions a child approximately 9-10 years of age was present, they said.

Police said Lois Masci helped set up two of the transactions.
On May 15, police executed arrest warrants for Shane and Lois Masci and searched their home on Daniel Webster Highway. Officers from the Merrimack Police Department and the Hillsborough County Street Crime Task Force arrested Lois Masci as she was arriving home in a motor vehicle with her children, and Shane Masci after he came outside to investigate the commotion that Lois and the kids were causing.

The children were all released to the custody of a family member.
Shane Masci, 43, of Merrimack, NH was arrested on four counts of sale of a narcotic and endangering the welfare of a child. Lois Masci, 51, of Merrimack, NH was arrested for two counts of conspiracy to distribute a controlled drug and falsifying evidence.
During the booking process, officers searched Lois after she made "furtive movements" and determined there was contraband "inside her person." Police said a doctor removed six plastic baggies with packed heroin/fentanyl inside, another with loose heroin/fentanyl inside and one more used for packaging.
While at the hospital, police said, Lois passed several more baggies of heroin.
Shane Masci was arraigned by the Hillsborough County Superior Court (south) on May 16, 2018. His bail was
set at $25,000 cash only. Lois was arraigned by the Hillsborough County Superior Court (south) on May
21,. Her bail was set at $10,000 cash only.
Lois may receive additional charges of Falsifying Physical Evidence and Endangering the welfare of a child as well, as a result of swallowing baggies and carrying drugs in side of her person while operating a motor vehicle with her children as passengers.
