Please vote for Wendy Thomas for NH State Rep on April 13
Service is at the heart of Wendy's commitment to our community.

Please join me at the April 13 Merrimack special election and vote to re-elect Wendy Thomas for New Hampshire State Representative.
I met Wendy many years ago as a fellow Merrimack Friends & Families community volunteer. As I got to know Wendy, her commitment to serving the community was apparent in many ways, from dropping dinner off to a sick friend to spending countless hours advocating for clean water.
I’ve watched Wendy share her passion for helping others with her six children who are now grown and working. One is a licensed nurse’s assistant, one is a behavioral therapist who works with autistic children, one works as a substitute teacher as she pursues her degree in education, and one was enlisted in the U.S. Army.

In mid-March of 2020 during the early stages of the Covid-19 lockdown, Wendy realized that there was a serious shortage of hospital masks. Her response was to create the Merrimack Mask Sewing Effort, with the original goal of providing cloth face masks to medical providers. Through a public Facebook group, Wendy encouraged people to donate supplies to the group. Wendy organized those who couldn’t sew to cut fabric and make kits for those who could sew. Wendy listened to healthcare providers’ suggestions and worked with owners of 3D printers to create extenders for better comfort. Completed masks were returned to Wendy, and over six thousand double-layer fabric masks were donated to hospitals, non-profit groups, and individuals in the community during the early months of the pandemic.
Service is at the heart of Wendy’s commitment to our community. Please vote for Wendy on April 13 for NH State Representative so she can continue to advocate for clean water, quality education, and quality, affordable healthcare.
