Southern NH Weather: Weekend Clear, Temps Rising

High temperatures are on the rise this weekend, and even more so into next week.

On the heels of a vicious cold snap which left much of the U.S. in a deep freeze, this weekend is expected to see high temperatures rising above the freezing threshold in the area. There will be a steady wind throughout the weekend, though, pushing the wind chill values as low as -9.

High temperatures are expected to rise daily through the weekend. Sunday, the high will reach 35 degrees, the National Weather Service forecasts. There shouldn't be any precipitation until Sunday night, with a 30 percent chance of a wintry mix.

The high temperatures don't stop rising there, though. Monday is supposed to be in the 40's and Tuesday is predicted to hit an unseasonable 54 degrees.
