Speed Reduced on All New Hampshire Highways

Drivers are asked to use caution and obey a 45 mph speed limit during the inclement weather.

As the season’s first major snow blankets the area, drivers are asked to slow down and drive with caution.

Speed has been reduced on all major highways in the state to 45 mph due to current weather conditions, the New Hampshire Homeland Security and Emergency Management announced.

Snow fall totals are expected to vary around the state, from as little as 6 inches to as much as a foot and a half further north. The snow is expected to switch over the rain Tuesday afternoon in most locations.
