PORTSMOUTH– Avery Insurance, a fourth generation, family-owned, independent insurance agency located in Portsmouth and Wolfeboro and New Orleans, is pleased to announce Lauren Hernandez has joined the agency as its newest member of the Personal Lines Team. In her role, Hernandez will further develop Avery’s GOLD program, a specialized risk management program which provides complete asset protection to preserve wealth for successful individuals and families.

In 2005, Hernandez began her insurance career in the north shore of Massachusetts as a new policy sales/agency services specialist. In 2013, she joined Daigle and Travers in Darien, Conn. as a personal lines account executive where she managed a large book of business. She took great interest in learning about high net worth clientele and shifted her career in that direction.
In 2019, she was promoted to department manager where she was instrumental in growing the agency’s talent, overseeing departmental operations, and enhancing partner relations. “We love Lauren’s passion for finding the best solutions to protect our clients’ assets,” said Tod O’Dowd, president of Avery Insurance. “Her energy is infectious and her industry experience is unmatched; she will be a valuable asset for our clients and the entire Avery team.”
