CATA Holds Poetry Out Loud Competition

Students recite their memorized poems in front of student body

Our annual Poetry Out Loud competition happened on Thursday, February 8th. This is a wonderful school wide event during which, every student memorizes and recites a poem for English class. Congratulations to our school competitors: Dylan McMahon, Grayson Howard, Micaila Hopkins (3rd place), Eliza Carton (2nd place), and Bella Daly (1st place). Thank you also to our judges, Alison Hannan and Chris Bergeron!

Bella will be representing CATA at the NH Semi-Final Championship. Come support her at the Rochester Opera House on February 20th at 6:00. Three finalists will then compete at the State Championship: March 9, 2018 at the NH State House in Concord, NH. Stay tuned! Also a thank you to calibrator Christie Allen in there along side the performers!
