Charity Golf Tournament nets $18,000 for New Heights

Annual New Heights Golf Tournament nets $18,000 to support experiential programs and workshops for more than 1,000 area youth annually.

Held at the Portsmouth Country Club on Thursday, September 14, the 12th Annual New Heights Golf Tournament netted $18,000 to support experiential programs and workshops for more than 1,000 area youth annually.

Founded in 1987, New Heights offers activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM), Adventure and Leadership both outside and inside the classroom.

Major sponsors for this year’s tournament included Golf Cart Sponsor Ocean Properties and Hole-In-One Contest Sponsor Eastern Bank. Corporate Sponsors included DataRisk, The Friendly Toast, Lake Street Advisors, Loan Depot, Commonwealth Financial Group, and Piscataqua Savings Bank. Hole Sponsors included J. Clifton Avery Financial Group and Guyton Group.

Lee Frank, director of development at New Heights, expressed thanks to “everyone who made the event possible.”

“Corporate sponsors play a crucial role in our programming,” he said. “It was great to bring many of them here, have some fun and make some new friends in the process.”
