City Man Arrested for Selling Drugs
The following information was provided by the Portsmouth Police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Wednesday:
- At 7:33 a.m., police reported an accident at Portsmouth High School after a student had his foot run over by a car.
- At 7:56 a.m., police reported a theft of some change from a motor vehicle on Merrimac Street.
- At 9:12 a.m., police reported a stolen watch on Brewery Lane.
- At 12:23 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Peter R. Roy, 22, of 1207 South St., Apt. 2, was wanted for sale of controlled narcotic drugs.
- At 3:44 p.m., police reported a two-car accident with injury on Maplewood Avenue.
- At 7:54 p.m., police arrested a West Paris, Maine man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Joshua J. Mason, 30, of 29 Main St. was wanted for reckless operation.
