City Woman Nabbed for Shoplifting

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Saturday, Dec. 21.
Saturday:
- At 9:44 a.m., police reported fraud on Woodbury Avenue after the caller said his girlfriend stole his cell phone and used it.
- At 10:51 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman for motor vehicle offenses on Greenland Road. Shayna Lee Kirby, 28, of 69 Porpoise Way was charged with driving after revocation or suspension and operating with a suspended registration.
- At 12:16 p.m., police reported a hit and run accident on State Street.
- At 1:50 p.m., police reported a theft of a wallet on Lafayette Road after the caller said she was in the electronics department of a store.
- At 8:34 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman who was caught shoplifting in a Lafayette Road store and detained by store security. Pamela Morel, 29, of 600 Lafayette Road was charged with two counts of wilful concealment.
- At 9:38 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Wedgewood Road after a group of six to seven juveniles were seen urinating on someone's deck.
