Driver Hits Pothole and Gets Two Flat Tires

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, Jan. 15:
Wednesday:
- At 6:18 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident without injury on South Street and Clough Drive where the driver hit a pot hole and ended up with two flat tires.
- At 7:22 a.m., police reported a two-car crash on New Hampshire Avenue and Durham Street without injury.
- At 10:25 a.m., police reported a theft of two laptops on Campus Drive valued at $1,000.
- At 12:15 p.m., police reported a theft of a bracelet on Borthwick Avenue.
- At 12:31 p.m., police reported a theft on Islington Street after a store employee said a male subject had a bag of items he did not pay for and left.
- At 1:33 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Terrance P. Regan, 21, of 226 Union St. was wanted for attempted theft from a motor vehicle.
- At 3:19 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident on Summer Street.
- At 5:27 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Peverly Hill Road after the caller said a group of kids were throwing rocks.
- At 8:29 p.m., police reported a theft at a Lafayette Road business after a customer left the store with a bunch of items they did not purchase.
