Flash Flood Warnings Issued For Rockingham County
Forecasters: Deluge of rain will cause coastal and flash flooding in Exeter, Hampton, North Hampton, and Portsmouth this weekend.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — Weather forecasters have issued flash flood warnings and first responders are reporting flooding incidents all along the seacoast, according to reports online. The National Weather Service has warnings and watch advisories for Saturday for most of Rockingham county warning that low lying areas, small creeks, streams, and urban areas could see drainage issues and flood due to rain.
Close to 3 inches of rain is expected in the southeastern part of New Hampshire this weekend.
"This rainfall in combination with some snow melt and already high river levels will cause additional rises on area rivers," the NWS reported Saturday. "Minor river flooding is possible as well as ponding of water in urban and poor drainage areas.

Both Portsmouth police and New Hampshire State Police are reporting flooding issues in parts of the Port City.
