Forecast: Hot, Humid Week Ahead For New Hampshire
Heat Index values could climb as high as 101 degrees on Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.
NEW HAMPSHIRE — A hot and humid week is ahead for New Hampshire residents, according to the National Weather Service on Monday.
In a Hazardous Weather Statement, the NWS warned the week's hottest day is projected to be Tuesday with a high temperature near 94 degrees and heat index values as high as 101.
Tuesday evening, temperatures are expected to drop as low as 69 degrees with a southwest wind around 5 miles per hour.

The NWS predicts a chance of showers in the late morning on Wednesday, giving way to a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. The high on Wednesday is 89 degrees.
Showers will continue until 2 a.m. Tuesday when, during the day, temperatures will be around 89 degrees with partly sunny skies.

Mostly sunny skies will continue through Friday with high temperatures staying in the upper 80s.
