Great East Butcher has Grand Opening this Holiday Weekend

The Great East Butcher Company celebrates its grand opening July 4 to July 6 at 28 Portsmouth Ave. in Stratham.

The full-service butcher and grocer, which is located next to the state liquor store, will have in-store samples and door prizes.

"We’re excited to open our doors to the Seacoast Community this Fourth of July weekend," Michael Rubin, one of the store's co-owners, said in a press release. "This grand opening event allows customers to explore our first location and sample our great foods such as premium meats, marinated steak tips, fresh seafood, prepared meals and an array of specialty items. We’re especially excited about the $7.99 a pound steak tip promotion we are offering from July 4 through the 6."

The Great East Butcher Company offers a wide selection of specialty meats, seafood, cheeses, and gourmet grocery items as well as local produce and prepared meals, according to the new business. 

Store hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
