NH Jump Rope Team to Host 'Friends & Family' Event in Newmarket

Extreme Air - New Hampshire's nationally ranked competitive jump rope team - will be hosting a friends and family event in Newmarket.

PORTSMOUTH, NH - If you've ever tried to jump rope, you know how hard it is. Next month, Extreme Air - New Hampshire's nationally ranked competitive jump rope team - will be hosting its 15th annual Friends & Family event.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m at 6:30 p.m. at Newmarket Junior/Senior High School. According to organizers, it will provide a way for people to learn more about jump roping if they're interested. The event will also provide a showcase for Extreme Air as they gear up to head to Nationals in June.

Admission is free, and a workshop will be held prior to the team's performance, from 5 to 6 p.m. There will also be raffles, a silent auction and more. Registration can be done prior at www.FamilyID.com or at the door starting at 4:30 p.m.

Following this performance, the team is heading to Wisconsin for the USA Jump Rope National Championships in June. The team will compete against hundreds of the country's best athletes for national recognition in speed and freestyle events. The Extreme Air jumpers qualified for nationals at the Regional Tournament held last month in Kingston.
