Brackett: An Open Letter To NH Unions, Now Is The Time For Action

Brothers & Sisters:

We are exactly one week away from Election Day, which means we have exactly seven days left to get out the vote and work to elect pro-worker candidates to public office.

Right now, we have the opportunity to elect the most pro-worker president in history into our White House. And I believe New Hampshire knows it, too. Just look at the history being made right in front of our eyes. For the first time in over a hundred years, the New Hampshire Union-Leader has endorsed a Democratic candidate for candidate, Joe Biden.

“Building this country up sits squarely within the skill set of Joseph Biden. We have found Mr. Biden to be a caring, compassionate and professional public servant," the Union Leader editorial board wrote on Sunday. "He has repeatedly expressed his desire to be a president for all of America, and we take him at his word."

By all accounts, Joe Biden is the right choice for New Hampshire’s working people. Now, let’s get him elected.

Please continue to keep up the good work and continue to engage union members to volunteer and phonebank for the NH AFL-CIO. This is our last chance as the labor movement to defend our rights in this election, and we need to make our efforts now.
