State Street Resident Says Man Defecated in Driveway

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Thursday, Aug. 1.

Thursday:

  • At 8:23 a.m., police assisted Greenland Police with a two-car accident on Greenland Road without injury.
  • At 8:51 a.m., police reported a two car versus a motorcycle accident on Congress that left a female subject hurt with a leg injury.
  • At 6:26 p.m., police reported lewd-indecent exposure on State Street after a male subject defecated in his driveway and walked away.
  • At 8:12 p.m., police took took two male subjects into protective custody after seven male subjects were seen trespassing on Maplewood Avenue.
  • At 8:30 a.m., police arrested a juvenile on Middle Road for criminal mischief after staff said he was destroying things.
  • At 9:09 p.m., police reported a theft of nip bottle from a business near the Portsmouth Traffic Circle, but the business didn't want to press charges.
  • At 9:37 p.m., police arrested a Massachusetts man for drunken driving on Bartlett Street after he drove onto the caller's lawn and tried to enter the caller's house. The caller told police he punched the driver in the face and took his keys. David Meucci, 55, of 168 Old Country Lane in Braintree, Mass., was charged with driving while intoxicated.
  • At 10:57 p.m., police reported a stolen bike on Spinnaker Way valued at $134.
