Police Called After Someone Pours Water in Man's Shoes
The following information was provided by the Portsmouth Police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Thursday, Oct. 24.
Thursday:
- At 8:37 a.m., police reported a theft of some change and a can of soup from a vehicle on Ledgewood Drive.
- At 9:39 a.m., police reported criminal mischief on Hanover Street after the caller said someone ripped the windshield wiper off of her car.
- At 10:51 a.m., police reported that an iPad and some change were taken from a car on Orchard Street.
- At 10:52 a.m., police reported the theft of some money from two residents on Jones Avenue.
- At 2:42 p.m., police reported a hit and run accident at Portsmouth High School on Andrew Jarvis Drive.
- At 3:40 p.m., police reported shoplifting on Durgin Lane.
- At 5:57 p.m., police reported a theft of some money and 10 packs of cigarettes from six Jones Avenue residents.
- At 7:17 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Holiday Drive after the caller said someone poured water into his shoes that he left outside of the residence where he was staying.
- At 9:24 p.m., police arrested a Hampton Falls man for motor vehicle offenses on Congress Street. Jason Stevens, 37, of 24 Lafayette Road, Apt. 4 was charged with driving after revocation or suspension and operating after suspension.
