Police: Road Rage Incident Spills Over to Driver's Home
The following are excerpts from the Portsmouth Police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Friday, Sept. 13 through Saturday, Sept. 14.
Friday:
- At 12:26 a.m., police reported a prowler complaint on Ash Street and Orchard Street.
- At 7:49 a.m., police reported criminal mischief on Middle Street after the caller said his granite post was knocked down.
- At 8:35 a.m., police reported a theft on Ash Street after some change was stolen from a vehicle.
- At 1:09 p.m., police reported that two women were fighting on Market Square.
- At 2:29 p.m., police reported an animal call on Wibird Road and dispatched a sick raccoon.
- At 3:44 p.m., police reported a theft on Lafayette Road when a homeless man took several items from a store and fled on a bicycle.
- At 4:28 p.m., police arrested a Hampton man following a domestic incident on White Cedar Boulevard. Carl Hendrickson, 47, of 3 Presidential Drive, Apt. 205, was charged with simple assault.
- At 5:05 p.m., police reported a car struck a deer on Grafton Drive and Route 33.
- At 5:35 p.m., police arrested a Dover man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he was detained by Dover Police. Stephen Root, 24, of 15 Digby Lane was charged with two counts of simple assault.
- At 6:13 p.m., police reported a road rage incident on Cutts Avenue after one driver followed the other driver to their home and confronted them.
- At 7:10 a.m., police reported criminal trespass on Maplewood Avenue after the caller said some people were sleeping in the cemetery.
- At 9:30 a.m., police arrested a Dover man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice by Kittery, Maine, Police. John Strickland, 42, of 212 Dover Point Road was charged with being a fugitive from justice following a foot chase on Tuna Terrace.
- At 9:49 a.m., police reported a theft on Greenleaf Avenue after the caller said someone broke into her home and stole her laptop computer.
- At 1:39 p.m., police reported a bicycle theft on Middle Street.
- At 2:20 p.m., police arrested a Durham man for drunken driving on Deer Street. Shane Moher, 24, of 34 Watson Road was charged with driving while intoxicated and transporting alcoholic beverages.
- At 4:17 p.m., police arrested a Kentucky man for drunken driving on the Route One Bypass southbound. James P. Palmitese of 14 West Ave. in Sandy Creek, Ky was charged with driving while intoxicated.
- At 6:34 p.m., police reported the theft of a cell phone on Pleasant Street.
