
Portsmouth voters on Tuesday elected a new, nine-member City Council.
Here are the victorious candidates and their vote totals:
- Bob Lister: 2,692
- Jim Splaine: 2,528
- Stefany Shaheen: 2,331
- Esther Kennedy: 2,288
- Brad Lown: 1,852
- Chris Dwyer: 1,848
- Zelita Morgan: 1,792
- Eric Spear: 1,725
- Jack Thorsen: 1,693
Lister will be mayor and Splaine will be assistant mayor because they received the highest and second-highest vote totals, respectively.
Lister, Kennedy, Lown, Dwyer, Spear, Thorsen and Smith were incumbents.
Twenty-three candidates ran for council. Below are the rest of the unofficial results:
