Portsmouth High Takes On Nashua South: Granite State Challenge

DURHAM, NH — At 6 p.m. on Saturday tune in to the latest edition of Granite State Challenge to see Nashua South High School challenge Portsmouth High School in a round one matchup. Playing for the Nashua High South Purple Panthers are Captain George Eid, Njeri Kiritu, Sri Korandla, Andrew Guo and alternate Sahil Mahendrakar. The team is coached by Greg Montaine.

The Purple Panthers are no strangers to Granite State Challenge — they were champions in 2016 and 2017.

The Portsmouth High Clippers are represented by Captain Francis Powell, Josie Sedam, Rio Marcus, and Hannah Rubin. The team is coached by Hannah Dul.

The winner will meet either Londonderry or Souhegan High School in the quarterfinals.
