The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating the death of a 19 year old female which occurred in Portsmouth on March 30, 2021. The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating the death of a 19 year old female which occurred in Portsmouth on March 30, 2021. On March 30th at approximately 8:15 am, the Portsmouth Police and Fire Department were dispatched to an address on Greenleaf Avenue for an unresponsive female in the residence. On scene it was determined the female was deceased. An investigation is being conducted by the Portsmouth Police Department’s Investigative Division and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. There was no sign of foul play and nearby residences are not in danger.
