Sunday, May 20

  • A resident on Cabot Street called police to report that an upstairs neighbor was screaming and yelling.
  • A caller reported a woman in distress on Lincoln Avenue. According to the caller, the woman was sitting on the front steps in only a towel and said she thinks she was drugged the night prior. The witness said the woman could only give her first name and seemed 'out of it.' Police responded and transported the woman to a hospital for an evaluation.
  • A resident on Mickinley Road reported a year's worth of domestic abuse to police, who are working to investigate.
  • Police responded to Congresss Street for a theft of a $30 ring. According to a report, the suspect, a 16-year-old girl with her hair up in a bun, wearing sandals and black pants was with an adult. Both were caught on film taking the item.
  • Donald J. Tourville, of Portsmouth, NH was arrested for aggravated felonious sexual assault and forcebile fondling on an outstanding warrant on Court Street.
  • Mendell Kadar Hazlewood, 31, of Portsmouth, NH was arrested for operating without a valid license on Woodbury Avenue.
  • A caller on Marcy Street reported several males trying to kick open the door of one of the bathrooms of Prescott Park. A caller said four men in their 20s got into a black Silverado and left. According to police, the damage is estimated at $1,500.

Monday, May 21

  • Police were called to Rt. 33 and 1-95 for a three car crash. According to a report, one man was lying down and appeared to be injured. A second man appeared to be intoxicated. State Police were notified and responded to the crash.
  • A caller on Sanderling Way reported a loose pitbull running around the neighborhood.
  • A caller reported a theft of school property on Sherburne Road. According to a report, stolen items include a wheelbarrow, pole digger, metal rake and shovel.
  • Police arrested Keyur Limbachia, 19, of Portsmouth, NH for two counts of sexual assault.
  • A caller reported an injured baby raccoon sitting next to a tree on Islington Street. The caller placed the baby in a box under the tree and police notified Fish and Game.
  • Police were called to Lafayett Road for a car accident. According to a report, a vehicle broke down and was hit by another car. No injuries were reported.
  • Police responded to a Market Street business after a homeless man laying down in a doorway refused to move.
  • Police responded to Parrott Avenue for a stolen backpack. According to police, a MacBook and the bag were left in an unlocked vehicle.

Tuesday, May 22

  • Police responded and cleared a burglar alarm on State Street.
  • Police were flagged down by a man on Market Street who said he was sunburned and requested an ambulance.
