Sunday, May 6

  • A passerby found a wallet on Pleasant Street and turned into police.
  • Police were called to Brewery Lane for a fender bender.
  • A resident requested a well being check on a friend who is a stroke victim. According to the report, the male checked out a book on poisons and antidotes from the library, causing his friend to worry. Police checked on the male, who denied wanting to harm himself.
  • A detail officer on Fleet Street was told that a UHaul truck hit and damaged a light post.
  • A man on Market Street reported his vehicle was towed. After checking with the tow company, he reported it stolen. After a check, the man called police to tell them his wife moved it without telling him.
  • A caller on Woodbury Avenue reported a vehicle cut him off while pulling into Starbucks. The man told police got out of the car and spoke to the driver while he was inline waiting for coffee and the man started video taping him.
  • A caller reported a tractor trailer struck a fire hydrant and left the scene on Maplewood Avenue.
  • A caller reported a male standing on the median on Market Street playing a musical instrument and distracting drivers. Police arrived to find he was sitting in the median with his belongings not being an issue and left a short time later.
  • A caller on Lafayette Road reported she drove her car into a pole in a parking lot. She told police the pole was still standing but her car was attached to it.
  • A caller on Bartlett Street reported her husband was drunk and being verbally abusive. According to the caller, the male has a history of fighting officers. Police arrived and counseled the couple who didn't want to press charges.
  • Police were called back to Bartlett Street less than two hours later after the male occupant of the home reported his wife was yelling at him and wanted her removed from the home. Police again responded to the scene and counseled.
  • A caller on 911 reported a male acting erratically on Grafton Drive. According to a report, the man tried to board a bus but was denied by the driver who told police to hurry. Police arrested Stephon Thomas, 21 of Dover, NH on an outstanding warrant and resisting arrest.

  • A man on Daniel Street reported a male was being disorderly and trying to fight him. The suspect was gone when police arrived.
