Portsmouth Police log: Local Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant

Sunday, May 27

• Police received a call from a woman who stated her male friend was feeling suicidal. According to the caller, the former military man broke up with her a few days prior and suffers from PTSD, depression and ADHD. Police located the male and offered him services, which he declined.
• A caller at the Stonecraft Apartments reported his brother pushed him to the ground.
• An assistant GM at Portwalk Place called police to come pick up some marijuana they found the night prior.
• A resident reported a hit and run that happened on Islington Street. According to police, the woman noticed the lower half of her car was scratched and dented.
• A caller on Islington Street reported someone tried to break into her apartment. She reported damage to the door knob.
• A resident reported theft on Maplewood Avenue.
• A caller on Portsmouth Boulevard reported three kids trespassing on their property.
• Portsmouth Police arrested Ryan Lantz, 27, of Portsmouth, NH for an outstanding warrant.

Monday, May 28

• A caller reported bouncers at a bar on Market Street tried to kick her friend out because he was black. The caller told police she was drunk. Police arrived and found no crime had been committed.
• A caller on Gosling Road reported her son was out of control. Police reported after a while the 34-year-old male calmed down after going to his room.
