Portsmouth Route 1 Bypass Closed For Bridge Demolition
Portsmouth's Route 1 bypass will closed this weekend for the demolition of the Woodbury Avenue Bridge.
PORTSMOUTH, NH -- The Route 1 Bypass in Portsmouth will be closed this weekend for the demolition of the Woodbury Avenue Bridge. The bypass will be closed in both directions from Saturday at 7 a.m. through Monday at 7 a.m. Traffic will be detoured.
The bridge will be replaced by November 2019 as part of an $8 million repair project that also involved the replacement of the Stark Street Bridge over the bypass.
