Portsmouth Woman Arrested for Theft, Criminal Trespassing

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, Nov. 20.

Wednesday:

  • At 8:11 a.m., police reported a theft from a vehicle on Winchester Street.
  • At 11:01 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she turned herself in at the police station. Portia Echo Bick, 23, of 245 Middle St. was wanted for two counts of theft; all other and two counts of criminal trespass.
  • At 12:40 p.m., police reported a burglary on Elwyn Road after the caller said a refrigerator and bathroom cabinets were missing.
  • At 1:59 p.m., police reported criminal threatening on Spinney Road.
  • At 2:15 p.m., police reported a property damage accident on Parrott Avenue after the caller said someone banged his fist on his car after he confronted them and caused some damage.
  • At 4:07 p.m., police reported a theft on Woodbury Avenue.
  • At 8:36 p.m., police reported a hit and run accident on Islington Street and Union Street.
  • At 11:49 p.m., police a property damage accident on Russell and Market streets after a driver struck a sign.
